Twining glabrous liana, tree or shrub with coriaceous glabrous leaves apart from scattered hairs beneath 200mm x 100mm. Yellow flowers in rusrty-tomentose terminal or axillary racemes or panicles with bracts & bracteoles. Flowers to 40mm diameter, sepals to 6mm long, petals to 6.5mm. Red-winged fruits, brown when ripe, samaras to 50mm long
