Liana or small tree with reddish tomentulose young parts, branches lenticellate. Leaves to 55mm x 25mm, glabrate above & tomentose beneath. 4-6 flowered axillary or terminal panicles with bracts to 4mm long of 10mm diameter greenish yellow flowers with bracts to 1.25mm long, yellow flowers 10mm wide, sepals to 2.5mm long, curved petals to 3.5mm long with 2.5mm long claw.
