Climbing epiphytic subshrub, young stems with reddish-brown bristles, older stems glabrous & striate, adventitious roots. Glabrous leaves to 240mm x 115mm. Flowering on old branches. Inflorescence with bracts to 2mm long, sepals 0.5mm long, pink petals. Ribbed bristly yellow or orange fruit to 8mm x 7mm.
