Small woody vine or glabrous twiner with leaves to 80mm long. Green to yellow flowers in axillary 2-3 flowered cymes with bracts, yellowish-green fleshy flowers to 5mm long, lobed calyx 1mm long, inflated corolla tube with 5 lobes. Red-brown follicle to 60mm long.
