Herbaceous tendril liana, puberulent throughout. 3-lobed leaves to 180mm x 200mm. Racemes with numerous flowers, yellow or red flowers with orange sepals & red stamens, villous red calyx tube to 13mm x 4mm, sepals to 17mm long, petals to 5mm long.
