Prickly climber with terminal racemes or panicles to 300mm or more long yellow-pubescent with spines of whitish flowers with purple spots, bracts 20mm x 7mm tomentose both sides, 5 sepals villous outside, 4 petals to 20mm x 12mm villous both sides, densely spiny legume 130mm x 45mm, spines 12mm long, leaves & stems yellow-pubescent, 10 pairs of mucronate leaflets
