Fruiting Times
Large prickly liana to 15m or straggling shrub with densely spiny stems, bipinnate paripinnate leaves glabrous above, glabrous or puberulent beneath, 5-8 pairs of mucronate leaflets to 90mm x 50mm, petiole & rachis spiny. Puberulent axillary racemes to 500mm long with glabrescent bracts to 8mm long, 30mm diameter yellow flowers, tomentulose calyx to 7mm long x 2mm, bright yellow petals 7mm x 3mm, fruit a sparsely spiny pod to 130mm long x 60mm with stiff yellow bristles and sharp beak to 10mm long
