Large woody tendril liana to 15m or arching shrub with wite-pubescent stems. Mucronate serrate leaves puberulent above, densely yellow-tomentose beneath to 150mm x 100mm. Axillary or terminal racemes or panicles to 220mm long of 1mm fragrant white or greenish-yellow flowers, calyx 1.5mm long, simple tendrils on inflorescence. Glabrate or pubescent 3-angled schizocarp 14mm x 4mm maturing brown.
