Perennial woody twiner, hairy young stems. Leaves to 122mm x 50mm, glabrous above & hairy beneath. 3-12 flowered racemes with bracts to 3mm x 0.5mm, calyx tube to 1mm long, green glabrous lobes to 13,1mm x 2mm. Pale green or yellow glabrous corolla with brown or purple tint, tube to 3mm long, 5 lobes to 40mm x 4.5mm. Fleshy corona.
