Shrub or sometimes climbing woody root-climbing vine to canopy with pilose stems. Coriaceous leaves to 20mm x 15mm glabrous above, glabrous or hairy beneath. Solitary axillary white or pale pink flowers, 5-toothed calyx to 5mm x 3mm, calyx tube 2mm x 5mm, corolla to 16mm long, tube 6mm wide. 7mm diameter white or red fruit.
