Climber to 27m with leathery leaves to 180mm x 80mm, axillary male inflorescence to 50mm long with 1.5mm long flowers in a dense hairy tuft. Female inflorescence to 90mm x 10mm, flowers embedded in a hairy mass, glabrous fruit to 20mm x 12mm
