Fruiting Times
Spiny scrambling or erect shrub to 10m or villous small tree. Spines to 50mm long. Leathery leaves glabrescent above velvety beneath to 140mm x 85mm, entire or 1-5 lobed. Tomentose terminal few to many-flowered racemes to 70mm long with bracts to 35mm x 12mm, flowers to 35mm x 18mm, green 4-5 toothed pubescent calyx 6mm x 4mm with lobes 1mm long, 4-lobed yellow hairy corolla to 53mm long with lobes to 13mm x 40mm, corolla tube to 12mm long opening to 25mm. Yellow glabrous fleshy drupe to 25mm x 25mm, fruiting calyx to 80mm diameter.
