Annual hairy robust erect or twining herb with pilose stems. Trifoliolate pilose leaves. leaflets to 140mm x 100mm, strigose or glabrate above & strigose beneath. Axillary racemes to 35mm long with 5-8 flowers & strigose bractlets to 3mm long., 20mm white, lilac to purple pea flowers, strigose calyx to 7mm long with bracteoles to 3.25mm, white, pink, greenish-blue, violet or purple corolla to 7mm long. Torulose hairy pod to 75mm x 15mm brown.
