Scandent shrub or woody liana to 6m with glabrous stems. Coriaceous glabrous leaves to 110mm x 75mm. Terminal & axillary corymboid thryses to 110mm x 120mm, sweetly scented flowers with bracts 1mm long, 5-6 toothed calyx to 4.5mm x 3mm with teeth to 1mm x 1mm, 5-6 lobed white corolla with tube to 7mm x 3mm & lobes to 3.5mm x 2.5mm. Glabrous grey-brown fruit to 10mm x 3.5mm with a persistent calyx.
