Climbing or procumbent shrub. Leaves to 65mm x 55mm, glabrous above, silky beneath. Axillary ir lateral racemes of 1-2 scarlet flowers, rarely with several flowers, subtending bracts to 6mm long, calyx 12mm long with lobes to 6mm long, yellow corolla infused red towards margins & red veins, wings to 42mm x 5mm with 8mm red claw, keel to 43mm x 9mm. Pod exerted from persistent calyx, to 13mm x 8mm
