Climbing rhizomatous root-climbing saprophytic orchid, with twining or sprawling stems to 15m or more, reddish scale leaves to 25mm long, lateral racemes or panicles to 300mm long of 80mm bright yellow flowers with orange-red veins inside, with red hairs on lobes, dorsal sepals to 14mm x 6mm, lateral sepals 9mm wide villous on back, petals to 14mm x 6mm, saprophyte, fruit a pod to 300mm x 20mm
