Perennial twining grey-pubescent slender wiry climbing or trailing herb, pubescent or glabrescent, with axillary racemes with small bracts, to 200mm up to 12 flowers 14mm long, flowers 10.5mm long reddish, yellowish or mauve to pink sometimes with a whitish eye, calyx 6mm long, keel usually white to pink, calyx to 2mm puberulent outside with 4 lobes to 5mm, petals to 7mm long, pubescent to villous or glabrous falcate legumes 65mm x 7mm, trifoliolate leaves, central leaflet to 60mm long, leaflets mucronate & pilose beneath, pubescent stems
