Woody twiner with hairy stems becoming glabrescent. 3-foliolate leaves, coriaceous leaflets to 40mm x 10mm, glabrous above & white-silky pubescent beneath. Many-flowered inflorescence to 120mm long, toothed silky calyx to 5mm long, purple corolla, standard to 7.5mm x 7.5mm, claw 2mm long, wings & keel 2mm wide. Tomentose legume to 50mm x 8mm.
