Herbaceous glabrous or pubescent high-climbing twining subshrub or erect shrub to 4m. Puberulous leathery leaves to 70mm long becoming glabrescent , leaves white downy on margins & middle nerve or glabrous. Many-flowered extra-axillary umbels or cymes of scented white flowers tinged pale green lobes to 7mm long, downy calyx, young stems hairy, becoming glabrous, peduncles & calyxes downy, 5-lobed white corolla to 18mm across with fimbriate-ciliate lobes. Tomentose hoary follicle becoming glabrate to 80mm long x 10mm.
