Scrambling sometime climbing annual herb, leaves with mucronulate segments, with axillary or terminal racemes to 100mm long, purplish pink flowers tipped dark green & purple to 9mm long with bracteoles & spurs, fruit pod to 2.5mm diameter, up to 40-flowered inflorescence, corolla to 9mm pink with blackish-red tips, tendrilled petioles
