High-climbing twining liana with lenticellate stems. Leaves to 100mm x 60mm, glabrate above & puberulent beneath. Puberulent terminal cymes with bracts to 6mm long, white to yellow-green flowers with sharp fragrance to 5mm long, calyx lobes to 2mm long, puberulent without, corolla tube to 1.2m long glabrous without & villous within, lobes to 5mm long. Glabrous thin brown to black follicles to 270mm long.
