Twining liana with lenticellate stems. Glabrous coriaceous leaves 180mm x 80mm. White to brownish or yellowish to greenish-white flowers to 4mm long in terminal & axillary cymes, thyrses or panicles to 150mm long with a bract to 3.5mm long, puberulent calyx lobes to 2mm long, puberulent corolla tube to 3mm x 0.75mm diameter expanding to 2mm at orifice with lobes to 3mm long. Pale green paired fruit follicles turning brown to 200mm long often united at tip
