Sometimes climbing herb or almost glabrous shrub. Crenate leaves to 50mm x 30mm, ferrugineous-pilose beneath. Dense corymbs of 40 flowers, 2 series of phyllaries to 3mm long, pink at apex. Achenes hirtellous on angles, white pappus.
