Large woody climber brown tomentose twigs. Leaves to 370mm x 200mm glabrescent above & brown-tomentose beneath, Axillary or terminal inflorescence with tiny bract, triangular sepals 1.5mm x 2mm hairy outside & glabrous within, hairy outer petals 8mm x 4mm, inner petals 5mm x 2.5mm densely hairy outside & glabrous within. Bright yellow fruit to 25mm diameter covered in short brown hairs.
