Tendril climber, young stems pubescent, turnip-shaped root tubers. Denticulate leaves either unlobed or 3-5 lobed, to 105mm x 115mm. Axillary fascicles of male flowers with bracts to 25mm long, cream, white to pale yellow, 36mm x 26mm. Fleshy orange fruitto 90mm x 40mm.
