Tall glabrous woody climber-creeper to 30m with hirsute young branches becoming lenticellate, coriaceous glabrescent leaves to 175mm x 75mm, brown tomentose axillary panicles to 50mm long, tomentose sepals to 2.5mm x 2.5mm, hairy white corolla 12mm x 8mm with a tube to 2mm, velvety brown fruit to 38mm x 22mm
