Liana with glabrous stems. Glabrous leaves to 150mm x 150mm broadly triangular & deeply lobed to pinnatifid. Yellow flowers with bracts to 20mm wide, outer bracts 8mm x 1.5mm, reddish-yellow inner bracts to 9mm x 3.5mm, 20-25 florets, Yellow corolla 8mm long with glabrous tube 2.5mm long & triangular lobes 0.4mm x 0.3mm. Glabrous achenes with narrow wings to 1mm long, barbed bristles to 2mm long.
