Erect or scandent cactus or epiphytic shrub to 3m+ with aerial roots wit flat crenate branches to 120mm wide. Fragrant white nocturnal flowers 300mm x 270mm, tube to 150mm long with scales to 10mm long, with finely divided calyx or lower petals, reddish-brown outside, outer segments reddish to amber 100mm long, inner segments white. Purple-red ribbed fruit 160mm x 57mm
