Scandent or erect glabrous shrub or liana, verrucose stems, brnachlets lenticellate & often twisted. Leaves to 180mm x 80mm. Llateral or axillary racemes to 60mm x 12mm with bracts to 1.1mm, yellowish or greenish flowers with unpleasant odour, males to 3mm, females 1.5mm 4 sepals 0.6mm long, 4 petals 2mm long. Longitudinally ribbed fruit to 15mm diameter .
