Large scandent rusty-tomentose glabrous shrub or small tree, puberulous when young, inflorescence an axillary or terminal villous raceme or umbels to 90mm long with puberulent 1mm bracts of 3mm wide greenish-yellow to white scented flowers with dots, 4-5 sepals 1mm long puberulent outside, 4-5 petals 2mm long, red or blackish berry longitudinally wrinkled 5mm diameter, coriaceous dotted leaves to 160mmm x 85mm glabrous above with rusty stellate hairs beneath, young branches & peduncles rusty-tomentose
