Scandent shrub or liana with lenticellate glabrescent branchlets. Leaves to 120mm x 50mm with denticulate margins. Axillary racemes to 60mm long with bracts to 2mm long, white, yellowish or greenish flowers, males to 2mm, females 1mm, 5 puberulent sepals, 5 glabrous petals to 1.5mm long. Red fruit to 50mm x 50mm.
