Scandent shrub with puberulent branchlets. Leaves to 30mm x 30mm, crenate serrate margins. Axillary corymbs to 19mm of 2-9 yellow pendulous flowers spotted black, female to 1.9mm. Ribbed fruit 4mm diameter purple
