Branched twining thorny liana or scandent shrub with tomentose branches. Glabrous leaves to 300mm x 150mm. Racemes to 50mm long with minute bracts, inconspicuous brown-purple flowers, larger sepals 4mm x 3.5mm, 6 glabrous petals. Yellow-orange fruit.
