Hairy herbaceous twining trifid tendril vine or prostrate vine with 5-lobed leaves to 150mm x 150mm, sparsely pubescent above & hirsute beneath. Male panicles 250mm long of about twelve white 15mm wide flowers, flowers with green veins at base to 8mm long, tomentose calyx with teeth 4mm long.Lanate 60mm x 20mm green fruit aging brown & sharp bristles to 30mm or more
