Fruiting Times
Herbaceous nearly glabrous annual twining vine or trailer with multifid tendrils, angled watery stems to 8m long. Thin warty palmately 3-7-lobed toothed glabrous leaves to 150mm wide. Staminate flowers to 5mm long in compound racemes, pistillate flowers in solitary, paired or in clusters, 5mm green-white or yellow flowers, sepals to 3mm long, corolla to 9mm across. Pale green 50mm x 40mm inflated bristly fruits bursting at summit.
