Epiphtic liana or shrub with strigillose stems. Glabrous leaves to 97mm x 34mm, strigillose beneath. Few-flowered axillary inflorescence or solitary flowers, 25mm cream flowers with purple lines inside lobes, feathery edged calyx green to purplish or red to 15mm long, white to yellow corolla purplish within with glabrous tube 25mm long & small lobes.Dark red to black capsule surrounded by persistent calyx, to 8mm diameter.
