Twining liana, shrub or tree, cauliflorous. Coriaceous toothed leaves to 150mm x 75mm, pilose above, tomentose beneath. 12mm white flowers in axillary fascicles of 10-30 flowers, green sepals to 5mm long. Red berry to 9mm diameter with persistent calyx.
