Evergreen woody glabrous twiner, trifid tendril curved at end, & adventitious root liana with 2-foliolate glabrous leaves, leaflets to 100mm x 40mm. Axillary panicles of up to 15 flowers, normally 1-3, fragrant 100mm long yellow flowers with orange nectar-guides in throat with 31mm lobes, calyx to 15mm, corolla to 80mm. Woody brown flattened follicles to 1250mm long, 19mm wide bright green maturing brown
