Trifid tendril liana or glabrous climbing shrub with striate branches. Glabrous or pilose leaves with red veins beneath, leaflets to 140mm x 60mm. Single or few-flowered axillary panicles or umbels, 88mm yellow flowers with darker throat with 17mm lobes, calyx to 25mm long, glabrous yellow corolla to 75mm x 35mm. 320mm long seed capsule x 20mm wide
