Glabrescent scrambling shrub or woody liana to 20m with brown hairy branchlets often develops adventitious roots, glabrous leaves with rusty tomentum beneath. Terminal & axillary paniculate cymes to 250mm long, white, pink or purple flowers, petals to 12mm x 3.5mm. Glabrous or puberulent deep blue berry 8mm x 6mm, leaves with pale scurfy tomentum beneath
