Twining liana with tomentulose branchlets. Leaves glabrate above & tomentulose beneath to 60mm x 20mm. Terminal umbels with bracts & bractlets 1mm long, of 25mm diameter red or yellow fimbriate flowers, petals to 10mm, claw to 3mm long. Green to brown fruit samaras with villous nut 6mm high, 3 lateral wings to 30mm x 13mm.
