Monoecious mostly glabrous scandent herb or annual vine. 5-7 lobed leaves, lobes to 70mm x 7mm, scabrid above with minute white spots, bifid tendrils to 100mm long. Axillary fascicles of greenish-yellow flowers 10mm long, staminate flowers with calyx 4mm long with 5 lobes 2.5mm long, corolla lobes 6mm long. Pistillate flowers simlar. Berry 15mm diameter.
