Scandent or erect shrub to 7m with glabrate branches. Glabrous or sparsely strigose leaves to 60mm x 20mm. Dioecious flowers in few-flowered inflorescence to 10mm x 6mm, cream flowers with bracts, strigose or silky calyx, strigose or glabrous corolla. Velvety fruit to 10mm x 20mm.
