Herbaceous tuberous stem twiner with glabrous stems. Glabrous leaves to 105mm x 95mm. Male axillary spikes with panicles to 300mm long, flowers with bracteoles to 15mm, male flowers to 2mm wide with bracts to 3mm. Female flowers in axillay spikes to 90mm with bracts to 1.5mm & bracteoles to 1mm, female flowers to 5mm x 2mm. Glabrous capsule to 30mm x 28mm.
