Glabrous non-woody tuberous twining herbaceous vine with glabrous stems. Glabrate leaves to 130mm diameter. Axillary racemes to 15mm long with bracts to 5mm long of yellowish flowers, or solitary or fascicles of staminate white or cream flowers to 250mm long, flowers 1.1mm long, 300mm long female flowers inflorescence, flowers 1.3mm long. Purple winged fruit to 32mm long
