Herbaceous tuberous glabrous twiner pickly at base of stem with simple coriaceous glabrous leaves 200mm x 160mm, axillary panicles to 400mm long with 15-25 male 2mm flowers, sepals to 2mm long, female flowers in spikes, capsule to 35mm with 27mm wings at 90-95º
