Twining glabrous liana to 30m with lenticellatew stems & branches, long tendrils. 3-foliolate coriaceous glabrous leaves with leaflets to 120mm x 70mm & bracts to 2mm long. Spikes of reddish-purple flowers with lime-green patch in centre to 25mm long with 4-lobed brown calyx to 10mm x 5mm, purple corolla with standard to 20mm long, wings 15mm x 10mm, keel 10mm long. Flat dry brown pod to 170mm x 30mm.

Large rampant vine, probably not in cultivation
