High climbing hairy liana to 36m with sticky sap & trifoliate leaves to 140mm x 85mm, stigose-villose beneath. Axillary densely-flowered odorous racemes to 250mm long of purple flowers with central yellow spot, calyx pilose outside glabrous within, tube 6mm long & lobes 10mm long, standard petals to 14mm x 18mm, wings to 14mm x 10mm, keel to 15mm x 10mm. Brown fruits to 150mm long
