Climbing vine or subshrub with pubescent stems. Trifoliolate leaves, terminal leaflet to 110mm x 75mm, lateral leaflets to 95mm x 65mm, tomentose above & villous beneath. Axillary or terminal solitary inflorescence to 500mm, floral bracts to 2.5mm x 1.5mm with bracteoles to 7mm x 3.5mm & bractlets to 3mm x 2mm. Flowers to 27mm, calyx tube to 7mm with upper lobe to 11mm x 8mm, lateral lobes to 7mm x 5mm & lower lobe to 11mm x 5mm, purple standard petal 27mm x 23mm, claw to 4mm, wing petals to 20mm x 12mm, claw to 5mm, keel petals to 19mm x 10mm with 5mm claw. Pubescent fruit to 90mm x 20mm x 5mm with wings either side to 3mm
