Large liana with pubescent stems. Coriaceous trifoliolate leaves, terminal leaflet 180mm x 110mm, lateral leaflets 160mm x 110mm, glabrous above strigose beneath. Axillary solitary inflorescence with coiling tendency, to 450mm, floral bracts to 7mm, bracteoles to 2mm x 4mm, bractlets similar to bracteoles. Flowers 25mm, calyx tube 10mm, upper lobe 8mm x 10mm, falcate lateral lobes 10mm x 5mm, lower lobes 13mm x 6mm, standard to 20mm x 24mm with 4mm claw, wings to 23mm x 13mm with 6mm claw, keel to 13mm with 5.5mm claw.
